Because it's so cold

Ugh.
I'm not feeling so great.
It's 11 degrees outside, but according to
weather.com it
"feels like -4".
The wind has been blowing frigid air out of the canyon
and straight across campus all day.
So, naturally I skipped my last class,
said I wouldn't be able to make it to my meeting tonight,
and am spending the rest of the evening in bed.
I'm a pansy when it comes to being sick
so I decided to make a list of
things I'm enjoying these days in hopes that I will feel better.
Here it goes:

Days when campus looks like this.
Today was not one of those days.

These pictures and quotes:

It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all -
in which case, you fail by default.
J.K. Rowling

I like to see people reunited, maybe that’s a silly thing, but what can I say, I like to see people run to each other, I like the kissing and the crying, I like the impatience, the stories that the mouth can’t tell fast enough, the ears that aren’t big enough, the eyes that can’t take in all of the change, I like the hugging, the bringing together, the end of missing someone.
Jonathon Safron Foer

I am both happy and sad at the same time, and I'm still trying
to figure out how that might be.
Stephen Chbosky "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"

Ahhh, I love this kitchen. For some reason

I've never been one of those girls
who just wants to get married
or just wants to have babies...
I just want to have a house to decorate! Ha.

I guess for now I'll just stick with my bedroom.
I found this desk at a yard sale a few months ago

for $35. It was yellow and disgusting
but I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out!

And last on this very random list,
the Instagram iPhone app! My favorite.

Best friend and I during Christmastime.

The cutest little kid you'll ever meet.

And that's all.
